Film creation and its components

When

In Coconut Creek Highschool from 12:10-1:30 is the time period we have to shoot our film. During the week we will be shooting, which is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday ,  Thursday, and Friday. We only have these days to shoot out film because we don't have access to the inside of school on the weekends. All shots occur in the present and in the afternoon in the school.

Where
The location of our opening scene is the school(Coconut creek high school), but more
throughout the opening scene the characters will move throughout the school. In the classroom, bathroom, and hallway. These are the locations because the characters are children and children need
to go to school 1 for education. The shooting schedule for our film is in school(Coconut Creek High School).

Who
The people that will act in my film are Sebastian, Angelo, and Anthony. These people will have specific roles to play in this horror film. Sebastian will be the character doing devilish acts(antagonist). In the opening scene Angelo and Anthony are students and bystanders that witness a death by Sebastian. All actors are in my class, which means no scheduling.

Film look, Feel, and Sound
My film will contain dark lighting to create tension throughout the opening scene. It will appear as a school would and feel like a school would. Doors, Computers, Chairs, paper, and pencils are the props
that will be used. It will sound pretty quiet, since the characters are skipping class, but there will be dialogue,(non diegetic)suspenseful music and screams included. The screams are a non diegetic
sound so they will be edited in, but the dialogue wont be edited in. The technology we will need in
order to begin shooting is our phones because we can edit and record shots with them.

Storyboard
In the story boards all shots contain a shot type, shot number, Shot duration, Composition sketch,
and a brief explanation of what's occurring. When watching our film the audience will feel a specific mood, tone, and meaning. The main feeling the audience will feel throughout the film is tension and suspense since this is a horror film we're making. Shot 1 is a closeup and dolly out of Sebastian's face (protagonist) with dark lighting to create tension and signify that's he is the evil within the film. Shot 2 is Sebastian leaving the room which is in a full shot and with dark lighting. In the story board we will also have the 4 main film components that are included in the shot: cinematography, sound, mise en scene, and editing). The film components discussed within every shot are film components of the
horror genre tp create fear and tension.

Strip board
Times, locations, the duration of the shot and who is included in this shot are discussed within the story we created. All shots created are INT. (interior) which means inside the building of Coconut
Creek Highschool. All shots occur in the present and in the afternoon inside the school. In total we
have 16 shots with 3 locations maximum inside the school. hallway, classroom, and the bathroom are all of the locations discussed.
